Chinese TV manufacturers are rapidly catching up with their Korean and Japanese counterparts in the field of top end LED Tvs.

TCL will bring its first 8K TV, the 75-inch X10 QLED, to Australia in September. This TV was shown at the CES show in Las Vegas in January and won the 8K TV Gold Award of the Year.

The 8K TV employs TCL’s latest Quantum Dot display technology and offers 16 times more pixels than a full HD TV and four times more pixels than a 4K TV.

High quality sound is achieved with a premium built-in soundbar tuned by Onkyo that features Dolby Atmos audio for a quality home cinema sound experience.

The TCL 8K TV also features Artificial Intelligence (AI – IN) which enables viewers to control compatible devices around the home by speaking into the voice controlled remote which is channeled through Google Assistant and also works with Alexa.

Pricing details for the new TCL 8K 75" TV will be available closer to the launch date.
